About the Artist
Harisha Chennangod, a contemporary artist was born in 1984 in Kasargod, Kerala. The artist holds a BFA in Painting from CAVA College, Mysore and an MA in Museology from the Faculty of Fine Arts at MSU Baroda. He is now based in Vadodara, Gujarat, where he creates art out of expressive colours and repetitive lines to form textured visual landscapes, provoking thought into the interconnectedness of life. The artist has exhibited his work internationally, including at notable galleries such as Shristi Gallery and Trivandrum Fine Arts Gallery as well as biennales such as the Kochi Muziris Biennale. He has also participated in residencies and camps such as 1Shanthiroad in Bangalore and Niracharthu in Trissur, Kerala.
