About Artist
Anant Mehta graduated from the Faculty of Fine Art, M.S.University ,Baroda in 1965. His works were showcased at The Guild Art Gallery, Mumbai, Dhoomimal Art Centre, New Delhi, Nehru Centre, London and Art Fusion Gallery ,New York. He is the recipient of senior artist fellowship - Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India and Gujrat. State Lalit Kala Academy.The artist was honoured with the GAURAV PURSKAR by state Lalit kala Academy -2015. He received awards from Guj. Lalit kala Academy- 1963, 1964, 1973, 1979 and 1994., Bombay Art Society -1971, 1994., Maha Koshal,M.P. -1980 and Ahmedabad Muni .Corp. 1990. His works are in collections with L.K.A. New Delhi, Guj. State L.K.A., Roopanker ,Museum Bharat Bhavan Bhopal, Air India, PRL-Ahmedabad, ESSAR -Mumbai Abudhabi Investment Authority, UAE and many in private collections in India and abroad.
