About the Artist
Obayya- Growing up in the small village of Puttur, Karnataka, Obayya discovered art as a child, when he used the walls of his room as his scribbling surface. It was when he joined the Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Arts for Bachelor Degree of Fine Arts that he realised that he wanted to be an artist professionally. Preferring to use a monochromatic colour palate for his works, he occasionally works with three or four colours in one work, using his favorite medium-acrylic.
