About the Artist
A graduate from the B.K. College of Art & Craft, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, artist Kishore Sahu's works are inspired by the forest and have a touch of humour. They represent his forays into the world of myths which are found in abundance in traditional Odiya folklore. Kishore received the AIFACS (All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society) State Award in 2003. His first solo exhibition was held in Sutra Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, after which he spent his second residency at Aurodhan Gallery, Pondicherry in 2010.
