About the Artist
Gurudas Shenoy was born in 1965 in Udupi, Karnataka. Shenoy is a renowned artist with a deep connection to nature and a passion for colour. He is influenced by his father, artist G.S. Shenoy, and the iconic M.F. Husain. Shenoy's abstract cityscapes are vibrant and dynamic, capturing the essence of architectural spaces and the transient effects of light through his masterful use of colour and texture. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Baroda, and has exhibited widely in India, including at the Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai. As a leading muralist in India, his work can be seen featured in prominent locations like Bharat Electronics, Intel, and Indian Oil Corporation. His work significantly shapes both the national and international art scenes.
