About Artist
Farhat Datta received her degree in Graphic Design from Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai in 1990. She went on to study Communication arts at Ecole Superier Des Arts Moderen, Paris in 1997 and then Electronic publishing from Pratt, New York in 1999. Common subjects of her illustrative paintings include local transport vehicles of her bustling city Mumbai, village folk in their traditional, colourful attire and daily found objects. She enjoys finding beauty and joy in everyday experiences, capturing them as a reminder to celebrate life and the mundane.Artwork
