About the Artist
A. Naveen Kumar, born in 1985, has a Diploma in Painting from Ken School of Arts, Bengaluru (2008), followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Printmaking from Bangalore University (2010). Naveen has exhibited his works widely across India and internationally, holding notable solo exhibitions such as "Magical Stories from 81sqft Studio" at Gallery Sumukha, Bengaluru (2017) and "Magical Stories" at MOD, Bengaluru (2014). He has participated in group exhibitions, including "Miniature Postage Stamp Masterpieces," which travelled to Mumbai, Vadodara, Kolkata, and New Delhi; "Open Studio" at SSVAD, Santiniketan (2023); and "Singular Voices" at Lila Art Café, Kochi (2023). He has also showcased internationally through the 68th IPEP Travelling Exhibition, with his work showing in Australia, Turkey, and the USA. He combines elements of printmaking, mixed media, and painting, with a particular focus on urban life and its complexities.Naveen's dedication to his craft has earned him numerous awards, including the Junior Fellowship for Outstanding Persons in Visual Arts (2022) and several recognitions from Camel Art Foundation. The artist continues to live and work in Bengaluru, Karnataka, and Palakkad, Kerala.
