About the Artist
A water colour artist from Pune, Anand Bekwad thinks about the mountains, rivers, valleys, the light & the sky, very differently. He plays with the right timing to capture the essence of the moment, often taking pictures and then interpreting the real thing in his own unique style. His landscapes are transformed in such a way that, at times they appear as abstract. Instead of just conveying the meaning of his work, he prefers to make the spectator feel the visual narrative.
