About the Artist
Illoosh Judge Ahluwalia was born in 1961. She has studied Commercial Art at Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai, where she trained for five years. The artist is well versed with, and recognized for her palette-knife painting. Ahluwalia is actively involved in charitable causes, having organised shows to support victims of the Kashmir earthquake and differently-abled artists. She has participated in numerous group shows both in India and abroad, and has held twenty solo exhibitions, including at Arpana Art Gallery, New Delhi, and Nehru Centre Gallery, London.
