About the Artist
A third-year BFA student at Anitoons School of Art and Animation, Raja Sharma is a 23-year-old artist with an abiding love for watercolour. For him, there is something almost magical in watching pigments merge, dissolve, and flow freely across paper — an alchemy of colour and water that feels both spontaneous and meditative. His recent boat series reflects a deep fascination with boats, seas, and rivers — recurring motifs that draw him toward ideas of journey, solitude, and quiet reflection. Through soft washes and fluid transitions, he captures still waters and drifting vessels with an understated calm.
