About the Artist
Marshneil Danika Rodrigues holds a B.Sc. from St. Xavier’s College and received a B.F.A. from the Rachana Sansad College of Art. She also studied Advanced French at the Alliance Francaise and CIFRU de Lion’s Club. Her video art has been screened during the Art Hop- in Mumbai (2013) and her work has been exhibited at the Rachana Sansad College and the False Ceiling Gallery in Mumbai (2012). Rodrigues is inspired by the Surrealists, and works with a range of media including photography, painting, and sculpture. Danika’s work probes at the intersection of the interesting and the mundane, the shocking and the acceptable. They are all charged by spontaneity in conception and design.
