About Artist
Dishakha attained her Diploma in Painting from C.N. Shah College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad, India (2012) and Post Graduate Diploma in Graphics, M.S. University, Baroda, India (2014). She has participated in several group shows in The Tetra Tales, Ahmedabad (2016), Artist Proof, Baroda (2014), Lalit Kala Akademi, Ahmedabad (2014), AIAF (Ahmedabad International Art Fair) (2013 and 2014), Baneeyan Art Studio display, Baroda (2014), Vishala Exhibition, Ahmedabad ( 2014), Khajuraho Art Festival, Madhya Pradesh (2016). She has won multiple awards from: Karnavati Art Gallery (2010), Gujarat Lalit Kala Akademi Award in Graphics (2014), Lalit Kala Academi, Delhi (2010 & 2012). She has volunteered at the ‘Tvak residential art studio’, Ahmedabad. She has coached students for entrance exams of NID, NIFT and UID. Dishakha has always had an inclination towards music and nature. In her work, “Untitled”, she has tried to combine these inclinations.Artwork
