A third-year BFA student at Anitoons School of Art and Animation, Sidhant Kumar is a passionate 25-year-old visual artist known among his peers for evocative charcoal works that capture emotion, depth, and raw expression with striking refinement. Working primarily in charcoal, he demonstrates a deep sensitivity to the medium — allowing light, shadow, and form to emerge with quiet intensity. His compositions invite introspection, drawing the viewer into spaces where silence speaks and contrast becomes narrative. In his latest series, Sidhant pushes the boundaries of monochrome, blending charcoal with abstraction to construct powerful visual stories. Through layered textures and nuanced tonal shifts, he transforms black and white into a language rich with psychological depth and emotional resonance.
