About the Artist
Born in 1973 in Siliguri, West Bengal, Mahula Ghosh is an artist whose work reflects the dynamism and fleeting nature of life. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Fine Arts from Kala Bhavan, Shantiniketan, in 1989 and 1996 respectively. Ghosh's artistic style is characterised by multimedia compositions featuring a muted colour palette combined with the use of applique and patchwork. This fusion of techniques creates a unique visual language that captures the fluidity and movement of life. Ghosh has held one solo exhibition and participated in ten group exhibitions, showcasing her work exclusively within India. Her art conveys a thoughtful exploration of life's transient moments through her distinct and subtle approach to form and texture.
