About the Artist
Partho Shree Chanda (also documented as Parthashree Chanda) is a contemporary Indian painter recognized for his fluid, emotive work in watercolours and acrylics. He completed his Diploma in Fine Arts (Painting) in 1995 from the Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata. His primary medium is watercolours on paper, though he also works with acrylics on canvas. His technique uses fluid layers of watercolours to deliver striking, high-energy compositions often depicting landscapes, cityscapes, and boats. He has a prolific exhibition record with several prominent solo and group showcases to his credit.
