Siddharth Shingade, born in 1983 in Latur, Marathwada, India, draws deep inspiration from his roots, and this connection to his homeland is woven into the narrative of his art. Shingade pursued formal art education with an Art Teacher Diploma from Latur in 2000, followed by a Diploma in Painting from L.S. Raheja School of Art in 2006, and a Diploma in Art Education from J.J. College of Art in 2008. He is influenced by artists like Gustav Klimt and Datta Bansode.
Since childhood, Shingade was passionate about art, guided into a career by his supportive uncle. His works have been exhibited internationally, including at World Art Dubai in 2021, and his solo shows span notable venues such as Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai and India Art Festival. He has also been recognized with several awards, including the Maharashtra State Art Special Award, Indian Royal Academy’s Karnataka Royal Shield, and the Marathwada Bhushan Puraskar. His group exhibitions have taken place across India and abroad, with notable showcases at international exhibits like Sasaran International in Malaysia and Flowering Cultures in Italy.
