About the Artist
Sachin Tekade, born in 1980 in Karodi Village, Akola District, Maharashtra, holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Maharaja Sayajirao University in Baroda. He discovered his passion for art through his introduction to paper as a medium during his Art Teacher Diploma in 1999.. Sachin is renowned for his minimalistic art created from white paper. His exploration into ‘Architectural Surfaces and Patterns’ began while making architectural models, leading him to develop a unique vision. For Sachin, the color white symbolizes purity and evolution, embodying the spirit of his work. His dedication to 'Infinite Singularity' and his deep reflection on his paper-based artistry contribute to his distinctive approach. Sachin Tekade currently lives and works in Pune.
