About the Artist
John Tun Sein was Born in 1957, He studied at Sir J.J.School of Art, Mumbai. Following his graduation in 1985, Sein received a Lalit Kala Akademi Research Grant Scholarship in 1988-89. Known for his patience and love for solitude, his works reflect evidence of his meditative accomplishments. He has held solo exhibitions of his work in India, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland. He participated in the National Art Exhibitions in India and in the International Art Exhibition in Freiberg, Germany. His work is in the collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art, Delhi and the Lalit Kala Akademi, Delhi, and several private collections.Sein lives and works in Germany/Chennai?
