Sanjhi art is the traditional art of paper stencilling that has flourished over the decades in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. It is a folk tradition that has developed in the environs of the Vaishnava cults, where the love of Radha and Krishna becomes a point of departure for the devotees spiritual pursuits.
