S G. Vasudev was born in Mysuru, in the year 1941. He is an alumnus of Madras Arts College and one of the longtime artists associated with Cholamandal Artists' Village. The artist has held art shows in various parts of the world and his works are in collections at various galleries. He is the recipient of several national and international awards and accolades. The artist works and lives in Bangalore.
