About the Artist
Sujit Das earned his B.V.A. in Painting from the Government College of Arts and Craft, Calcutta University, in 1990. His artwork captures serene landscapes and everyday village scenes, featuring lush farmland, rivers, and bikes by the roadside. These simple, yet evocative subjects are presented in dynamic compositions filled with texture, movement, and vivid colors. Das' work has been exhibited across India, with notable shows in Kolkata, Mumbai, and New Delhi
