Soumen Das, born in 1969 in Baishnabchak, West Bengal, India, is a distinguished artist currently based in Vadodara (Baroda), Gujarat. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Painting from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara, in 1995 and completed his Master's in 1997. Soumen debuted with his first solo exhibition in 1999, hosted by The Fine Arts Company, Mumbai. Over the years, he has presented his work in 10 solo exhibitions and participated in over 50 group shows across Agartala, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Nagpur, Mumbai, New Delhi, Vadodara, as well as internationally in New York and Singapore.
