About Artist
Born on 31st August 1968 she completed her Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts from Goa College of Arts, Bombay University in 1989. She has 10 solo shows and many awards to her creditincluding Amchem Sobit Ddiaz an exclusive exhibition of paintings and drawings for The 46th International Film Festival at the ESG, Art Gallery ,Goa 2015;The Passion of Christ, Art Chamber, Goa in 2006; Galeria Vieira da Silva, Embassy of Portugal, New Delhi in 2004. Apart from this I have been a part of numerous shows. She has been a recipient of the Artist’s Residency Program at the Convento Da Arrabida, Portugal from the Fundacao Oriente of Portugal in 2002; was nominated for the UNESCO Award in Painting by Kala Academy, Goa in 1994 and had received a Research Grant Scholarship in Painting from Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi in 1992-92. Have won the prestigious award,'YUVA SRUJAN PURASKAR' for the year 2012-2013 in the field of PaintingArtwork
