About Artist
Shilo Shiv Suleman is an artist whose work blends art, technology, and social justice. As the founder of the Fearless Collective, she has led transformative public art projects worldwide, working with indigenous communities in Brazil, migrant groups in Beirut, queer activists in South Africa, and transgender activists in Pakistan. Through these immersive interventions, Suleman aims to replace fear with love in public spaces, advocating for social change with an artistic vision grounded in magical realism. Her installations have appeared at major festivals, including Burning Man, and her innovative use of biofeedback technology in installations like ‘Pulse & Bloom’ has drawn global attention. Suleman’s recent solo exhibitions include ‘Reincarnate: We Meet Here in the Afterlife’ (2021) and ‘Beloved’ (2015) with Art Musings, with whom she has also participated in group exhibitions like India Art Fair. Through diverse media—including woodcut, embroidery, and sculpture—her work reveals a poetic and multidimensional approach to contemporary issues. Currently, she divides her time between Bangalore, Jaipur, and Bali, continuing to push the boundaries of art as a tool for social change.Artwork
