Born On 1st May 1957 in Maharashtra , Sanjay Ashtaputre was awarded G.D in Art from Govt. School of Art Aurangabad in 1978, and J.J.School of art , mumbai. Sanjay Worked as freelance Illustrator and designer for many ad Âagencies and started his own ad-designing studio. He has illustrated more than 60 comic books for children which he has published from New Delhi till 1994 then became fulltime Painter. He has received 18 Awards and Accolades from various prestigious institutions from 1976 to 2004. Among those, some of the awards he received are the Camlin Award, Aurangabad, All India Art Exhibition Hyderabad in 1983, 85, 89, 91 and 1993.
