Nandini Goud, born in 1967, is an accomplished Indian artist specialising in painting and printmaking. She earned her Bachelor's degree in painting and her Master's degree in printmaking from the Faculty of Fine Arts, MS University, Baroda. The daughter of the renowned Andhra Pradesh artist Laxma Goud, Nandini Goud has established a significant reputation in her own right, with her works deeply influenced by her connection to Hyderabad, the city she calls home. Nandini Goud has held three solo exhibitions: her first at Gallery Espace, New Delhi in 1992, followed by Renaissance Art Gallery, Bangalore in 1994, and the Guild Art Gallery in 1998. She has also participated in several prestigious group exhibitions, including ‘Parampara’ alongside M.F. Husain, Shamshad Husain, and her father Laxma Goud at the Curiosity Gallery, and ‘Feminine Muse’ in Vishakapatnam with other women artists. Her work was also featured in the ‘Recent Trends in Contemporary Indian Arts’ at Vadehra Art Gallery, New Delhi in 1995. In recognition of her talent, Nandini Goud has received multiple awards and honours, including the National Scholarship from the Department of Culture of the Government of India in 1995 and the Junior Fellowship for painting from 1998 to 2000. Her work has been auctioned by renowned auction houses such as Christie’s and is included in prominent collections, including those of Davida and Chester Herwitz, recognized for their exceptional Indian contemporary art holdings.Artwork
