Born in 1968 in Kolkata, Meitreyi Nandi completed her Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA) from Rabindra Bharati University, Jorasanko, and went on to pursue a five year advance course from College of Visual Arts, Kolkata. She has participated in prominent national and international exhibitions and has been honoured with several accolades, including the Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award, Make in India Awards, and the KarmaVeer Chakra (bronze, silver, and gold), awarded by the International Confederation of NGOs and the United Nations, along with Rex Global FellowshipsArtwork
