About Artist
Jasu Rawal, born in 1939, Halvad, Gujarat, completed his MFA at M.S. University, Baroda, and has participated in over 50 exhibitions in India and abroad. He has held solo shows in London and France, and won the Karnataka Lalit Kala Academy Award four times in the 1960s. Rawal worked at the Weavers Service Center in Bengaluru for several years. His delicate forms and surreal landscapes create a mysterious and dreamlike atmosphere. Rawal currently lives and works in Bengaluru.Artwork
