Ganesh Gohain (Assam)
About Artist
Ganesh Gohain graduated from the Government College of Arts and Crafts in Guwahati, Assam. He earned his Master's degree with a first from M. S. U. Vadodara. Gohain received a French Government grant to study at the Ecolenationalesuperieure des Beaux-Arts. From 1995 - 1997, he received a junior fellowship from the Ministry of Human Resource Development in New Delhi. In 2001, Gohain received the Harmony Excellence Award as the best emerging artist. He lives and works in Vadodara.
