Mohammad Feroz Khan was born in 1978 in Delhi . He has learned art without formal training. The artist initially gained experience from his father, Mohd Ibrahim Khan, a banner painter. Later, he studied under the guidance of the renowned artist Manjit Bawa for 14 years. Bawa taught him various artistic techniques, including using brushes and pastels on different subjects, and helped him appreciate the beauty and nuances of texture in his art. The artist chooses to look around at his surroundings, the mundane scenes from his daily life, using these as his muse. It is the simplicity of scenes like street vendors selling a cold drink on a hot day, or beggars on a crowded street that inspire him to paint. Khan’s work has been exhibited in various galleries around India as well as abroad, in cities like Singapore, London, Dubai, Seoul, Washington and Barcelona.Artwork
