Chitrovanu Mazumdar born in 1956 is a contemporary Indian artist of Bengali and French descent. Although born in Paris, he spent majority of his childhood in Jharkhand. He was trained by his father – celebrated artist Nirode Mazumdar. Post this he went on to receivehis formal training from the Calcutta Government College of Art & Craft. He has participated in several group shows as well as host solo exhibitions in Dubai, Kolkata, London, Mumbai, New Delhi, New York, Palo Alto, Paris, Rome, Singapore and Salzburg to name a few. His works are a part of many prominent public and private art collections. The artist works and lives in Kolkata.Artwork
