About Artist
Born in 1974 in Hyderabad, raju obtained BFA degree from the DMS Lalitha Kala Maha Samsthana, Mysore. He won the Hyderabad Art Society Award in 2007. The artist has exhibited his works in many places in India & abroad. His don 12 solo Exhibits & 33 Group shows featuring his works have been held in Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, New Delhi, Amritsar, Chennai, and Mumbai among other cities. Being a son of professional artist helped Bala Baktha Raju learn different mediums of art and experiment with colour patterns. For Bala Baktha Raju, a professional artist, the source of inspiration is Lord of the Beginnings. So much so, the artist has painted over 1,400 pictures of Lord Ganesha in different forms and colours.
